Robert H. Ellis, Jr., D.D.S.

American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Robert Ellis, Jr. has been practicing
pediatric dentistry in Columbia for over
thirty years. Dr. Ellis
graduated from the University of South
Carolina and received his D.D.S. degree from
The Medical College of Virginia in Richmond
. He also completed his
pediatric residency at MCV as well and is a
Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric
Dentistry. Dr. Ellis is
proud of the practice’s family centered
environment as his three partners consist of
his daughter, son, and lifelong family
friend. Dr. Ellis’s goal
is to treat each patient as if they were a
part of his own family and to have this
philosophy permeate through the entire
practice. Dr. Ellis and
his wife, Judy, live in Columbia and have
three grown children.

Dr. Amy Ellis Green grew up
in Columbia, South Carolina. She graduated
from the University of South Carolina and
received a Doctor of Dental Medicine from
the Medical University of South Carolina in
1992. She obtained her certificate in
Pediatric Dentistry from MUSC in 1994. She
then participated in a Fellowship program in
Pediatric Dentistry at Northwestern
University in Chicago. Dr. Green has since
been in private practice in Columbia. She
has received her certification as a
Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric
Dentistry.
Dr. Green
and her husband, Dr. Nettles Green, live in
Forest Acres with their three children.

Dr. Robert H. Ellis III
is a Board Certified Diplomate of the
American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
He received his
Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the
Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr Robert Ellis
(Dr. Robert) then completed a two year
Pediatric Dental Residency were he received
specialized training to treat children.
He served as
Chief Resident during his residency.
Dr Robert
received his undergraduate degree from the
University
of
South Carolina
and is privileged to be in practice with
father (Dr Bob Ellis), his sister (Dr. Amy
Ellis Green) and childhood friend (Dr John
Jenkins).
Dr. Robert loves his profession and feels
extremely fortunate to provide dental care
to his young patients.
He strives to provide the highest
quality dental care in a fun and child
friendly environment.
Dr. Robert also has privileges to
provide dental care in a hospital setting at
Palmetto
Health
Richland
Hospital and Palmetto Surgery
Center.
Dr Robert and his wife enjoy spending
time with their family and friends.
They also enjoy running, traveling
and dining out.
Dr. Robert is an avid sports fan.
 John
W. Jenkins, D.M.D.
Board
Certified, Diplomate American Board of
Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. John W. Jenkins has been practicing
dentistry since 1999. He
attained his D.M.D degree at the Medical
University of South Carolina in Charleston .
Subsequently, he received his
specialty license to practice pediatric
dentistry from M.U.S.C. as well.
Dr. Jenkins is a Board Certified
Diplomate of Pediatric Dentistry as are all
of the dentists in the practice.
Dr. Jenkins and his wife, Marne, have
three daughters and reside in Columbia .
Dr. Jenkins’s goal is to provide the
most up to date, comprehensive dental care
to children and adolescents in a caring
environment. Dr. Jenkins
also has privileges at Palmetto Health
Richland Memorial Hospital and The Palmetto
Surgery Center where he provides hospital
dentistry for patients that can not tolerate
in office dental care.
Dr. Jenkins feels very fortunate to have
such a wonderful place to practice pediatric
dentistry.
